And then…what is the Monday Poll?

Excellent question! It isn't, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like with petty clicky buttons. It'due south just a list of five more or less random questions I've been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007). I love reading your answers, and it helps me get my calendar week off to a skilful get-go. ?

i. Would you rather be a ninja or a pirate?

Ninja! They vesture all black (a good colour for me) and commonly aren't on a gunkhole (I get seasick easily). And, by and large, they seem to exist less stinky than pirates?! I dunno if any of this is true, but in my mind it is. LOL!

ii. Camping or glamping?

Camping if someone else sets upwards and breaks down the campsite. Glamping if I accept to exist the adult and do it, ha!

three. What lipstick were you actually into when you first started wearing makeup?

My first "fancy lady" lipstick was a very calorie-free creamy magenta by Clinique — very late '80s! I loooovede seeing that silverish case in my mitt when it was time to touch up. I was also really into Revlon lipsticks dorsum so too.

iv. How frequently practice you stay upward by 3 a.thou.?

I'1000 often up during the witching hour, but it'southward never on purpose. Anybody want some insomnia? I'll give information technology to y'all for gratis!

5. A silly fear yous have?

I'm irrationally afraid of earthworms. Especially the long ones.

I love my living room in the afternoon; it's comfortable and has the best light.

7. What part of doing makeup are you best at?

I think I'one thousand pretty good at getting base of operations makeup to expect like skin. Also, one time upon a fourth dimension, smokey optics used to be my jam!

8. What cartoons did yous watch when y'all were a child?

Scooby Doo was always on at the babysitter's house. I likewise call back He-Man and She-Ra being a large bargain.

9. Do you text or call more?

I text more than, even though I'thousand the earth's slowest texter!

P.P.S. Hello and happy Monday, my beautiful friend! How goes it on your end? I'm doing alright today. The lord's day's out, I'm drinking coffee correct now… Overall, I'm feeling optimistic about the week alee.

I'g shocked to hear myself say this out loud, but yesterday I *did something* over the weekend. I know, what even is going out anymore?

Our fam-bam went to SF to see the Immersive Van Gogh Showroom. Have y'all heard of it?

Information technology's kind of like a Van Gogh painting brought to life. You stand up in this huge room (in socially distanced circles that are projected on the floor) every bit some of Van Gogh's nigh famous paintings are projected onto the walls with music playing in the background. As you're looking at the paintings, parts of them actually move and period with the music, and then you feel similar you're standing in the heart of a living, breathing work of art. IT WAS SO COOL. My favorite part was the famous Irises painting; it started with what looked like dirt beingness projected on the walls, then we saw roots elongating and growing, so leaves shooting upwards and out of the roots, and and so the flowers eventually budding and blooming. It was an explosion of color! I even got a niggling teary considering I was so overwhelmed with how beautiful it was.

If you ever go the chance to go, I highly recommend it.
